The owners of this stylish new family home were seeking practical yet inviting window treatments to complement their modern lifestyle. In the open-plan kitchen and entertaining area, we installed textured sheer curtains that allow gentle, filtered light to stream through during the day while softening the overall aesthetic of the space. In the living area, a combination of blockout roller blinds and coordinating fabric pelmets created a seamless, tailored finish that balanced function with design. This cohesive look continued through to the bathroom, where the same treatments provided excellent thermal protection—particularly important for the west-facing windows. Outdoors, we enclosed the external entertaining area with motorised Zipscreen® blinds and durable aluminium plantation shutters, creating a comfortable, private, and weather-protected space that can be enjoyed year-round—perfect for both quiet moments and entertaining guests.
